Area of Functioning: Content Writer Executive (Exp: 2-5 Years)


Content executives typically work full-time in an office environment and can work for media agencies and educational products companies. Specific job duties for content executives will vary depending on their industry.  A primary job responsibility is to direct the flow of external and internal information, including communications with key stakeholders. Other job duties may include developing unique messages to meet consumer needs and achieve sales goals, disseminating content via social media platforms, and utilizing information on competitors to improve content for products or services.

  • Availability of 6.5 hours for each day.


Job Responsibilities for Content Writing Executive


  • Brainstorm with the editorial team for new ideas and strategies for effective content.

  • Research markets and industries to create content that is innovative and original.

  • Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms such as websites, blogs, articles, and social media.

  • Create eye-catching and innovative headlines.

  • Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers.

  • Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication,

  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies). Experiments, Designing and Technology.

  • Write a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

  • Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication

  • Submit work to editors for input and approval

  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

  • Promote content on social media

  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

  • Update website content as needed


Education Required for Content Writing


  • A bachelor's degree from Arts.


Qualifications Required for Content Writing


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.

  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience.

  • Working knowledge of content management systems

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.


Specialization Required for Content Writing


  • A candidate must be specializing in writing Contents such as blog posts, web pages, social media posting, press releases, whitepapers, video scripts.
